I've been using the regular Rogaine. Doesn't smell at all, so I was quite surprised at how much this foam stinks to high heaven. If you like smelling like an old grandma who dumps a half a bottle of wretched perfume on herself, by all means, order this now.
I put on a small fraction of the recommended amount and I stunk up my whole apartment. They put a fragrance in it, and I use the term fragrance loosely. It smells like the worst perfume you ever had the misfortune of smelling.
I drove to the store (25 minute round trip) with my head sticking out the window to try to get rid of the smell. No dice. I had to shower when I got home.
I'm so glad I didn't try it for the first time on a work day morning. I would have been late to work because I *****NEVER***** would have gone to work smelling like that! Oh the ridicule...
Unbelievable. What were the Rogaine folks thinking?

I'm only a month and a half into using this product so I haven't seen any results yet, nor would I expect to. The chemical smell mentioned in some of the other reviews is not noticeable to me except during application, but my girlfriend did complain about it so I have to be careful not to apply it before I see her or before I go out. Before bed or before work is fine.
Only for men loosing hair from the middle of the scalp March 26, 2008

When i purchased it, i couldn't find enough information about it that it is only for men who are loosing hair from the middle of the scalp and there are a few more conditions to use it which makes 95% of men ineligible to use it anyway. So, i end up through it in the garbage than risking my rest of the hair.

This product is easy to apply and is the best minoxidil product I've found. I'm pretty sensitive to scented products so I tried this with much reservation... yes it definitely has an unpleasant smell that is minimal after blow-drying hair. Bottom line is that all the other minoxidil based products result in unacceptable visual appearance of your hair if applied after washing your hair. I blow-dry my hair daily and this product also adds volume to the appearance of my hair. Not sure why they can't produce a non-oily minoxidil product that you can spray on wet or dry hair that does not effect the condition of your hair... doesn't seem like rocket-science. Until then, do yourself a favor and try this. I'm 48 male, experiencing hair loss for 15 years. Bottom line, its the best of the bunch...

I heard on TV and i couldn't believe it, so one day i was like i need to try, saw review online and wow... you know. I ordered and i once i got it i was like what am i doing, i started to read the little book and is like very simple and made me confident! Well I am using it almost 2 weeks now and looks amazing, it doesn't smell, is actually pretty good, looks like a Foam for hair, i found an easy way to apply directly on my scalp. I took a pic when i start and one today, and i found a little difference. I can't wait to see what will happen after the 1st month!! I will order another 3 months maybe just get 1 year supply lol!
