if your not to old to lose most of your olfactory senses(smell) then you probably won't be able to stand using this product. it has a VERY strong smell that could be smelled by my friends around me, while i was wearing a hat. it has a very strong checmical smell that is very noticable. i would rather lose my hair then smell like a chemical dump.

I started using the product last Jan 2009 and had to stop on July 2009 because the volume of hair loss almost doubled while the foam. It did show some promise on my first month of regular use per instruction booklet suggests. However, the follicles on the new growth did not hold up, noticing a lot of fine hairs on my comb or whenever I take a shower. I guess it works on some people, not for me.

Works well after 4-6 weeks of application. As the bottle empties, it leaves a filmy residue on hair. Bottle lasts longer than one month for me compared to manufacturer's label

Hello,
I have questions to those Amazon customers who are getting good results and have been using it for so long.
I have been using Rogaine for almost a month. I am seeing results on the frontal side more. I am getting my hair where there was no hair but one thing is bothering me. As I am getting hair in every nook and corner of my frontal side and I see new follicles grow like almost every day but the hair coming out is very very thin. Do you think that it is going to change to normal size of my actual hair or it will be very think or fine for the rest of my life. Results are very encouraging and the skin before Rogaine which was just plain is getting hair but my concern is just the very fine hair for this first cycle. Please answer my question.

I just finished a 5 month run with some prescription meds for pattern baldness - couldn't see a result $500 later. After a lot of research and review reading - hoping that this is it. Very inexpensive treatment - worth the try...
